An Andalusia woman has been arrested by the Andalusia Police Department after she was spotted wearing her neighbors’ clothes following a burglary.
APD Investigator Cody Warren said that Allison Nicole Edgar – age 23 of Andalusia – has been charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree theft of property.
Warren said that the burglarized homeowner called to report the burglary and approximately an hour later called back to say that she saw a woman next door wearing her clothes.
Edgar stole clothing and jewelry among other items from the home.
She is being held under a $20,000 bond at the Covington County Jail.
According to Warren, Edgar was still wearing the victim’s clothes upon her arrest, and had to change clothes before being taken to jail so that the items could be returned to the victim.
