The staff of Massey Automotive worked with sponsors and volunteers to make sure children in foster homes in Covington County received gifts this Christmas.

This is the third year that Massey has been purchasing gifts, taking donations and recruiting sponsors to give Christmas presents to the kids that will not necessarily have a Christmas .

Since Community Christmas does not receive applications from every child that needs presents, DHR makes sure that every child on food stamps, in foster care and the kids still living at home that can’t afford Christmas presents can still celebrate Christmas and have gifts.

Massey chose DHR because the caseworkers have a close relationship with their clients and can distribute them directly to the families and children.
