The Straughn Tigers put up a strong fight, but fell in both varsity games to the Geneva Panthers on Friday night in Straughn.

GIRLS

GENEVA 53, STRAUGHN 29

In the opening varsity game the Lady Panthers downed the Lady Tigers 53-29.

Allie Kelley led the Lady Tigers with 10 points.

BOYS

GENEVA 55, STRAUGHN 45

Straughn led for most of the game, but a fourth period surge by Geneva pushed the Panthers to a 55-45 victory over Straughn.

Justin Peeples led the Tigers with 19 points.

Trent Cleland finished the night with nine points for the Tigers and Brantley Kelley added eight points.
