ALMA (LISA) YARBROUGH

Mrs. Alma (Lisa) Blackman Yarbrough, age 85, of Andalusia passed away on Sun., Jan. 7, 2018, at Andalusia Health.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wed., Jan. 10, 2018, at Damascus Church (County Road 69, Brewton). Interment will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery near Castleberry.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral services at Damascus Church.

JOSEPH CECIL WINGARD

A memorial service for Mr. Joseph Cecil Wingard will be held at 2 p.m. on Sun., Jan. 14, 2018, in the First Baptist Church of Andalusia. A visitation for family and friends will follow in the fellowship hall.

He died Fri., Dec. 29, 2017. Graveside services were held Sun., Dec. 31, 2017, at Coosa River Primitive Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any Parkinson’s Disease Research, Coosa River Cemetery Fund, or Samford University in Birmingham.

 

MYRTLE P. JIMMERSON

Mrs. Myrtle P. Jimmerson, 92, of Andalusia, passed away on Wed. Jan. 3, 2018, in Andalusia Manor.

A graveside memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Fri., Jan. 12, at Adellum Cemetery with Brother Gary Miller officiating. The family will visit with friends at the cemetery. Foreman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lydia and Phillip Johnson of Opp; a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Lori Jimmerson of Milton; four grandchildren, Brandy Bodiford, Allyson Jimmerson of Andalusia, Steven Jimmerson of Pensacola, Fla, and Aidan Jimmerson of Milton, Fla; a great grandchild, Kaleb Summers of Andalusia; one sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Delmar Fuqua of Crestview, Fla.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Jimmerson.
