An Opp man was arrested on Tuesday afternoon with more than 56 grams of synthetic marijuana in his possession.

Letteron D. Brannon was at his residence in Childre Trailer Park when agents with the 22nd Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force arrived.

The DTF received information from several people on Brannon.

“When he came outside, we searched him and he had some in his pocket,” Agent Josh Hudson, member of Covington County Drug Task Force, said.

“He admitted that it was his and he allowed us to search his home where we found the rest,” Hudson said.

The Drug Task Force was assisted by Opp Police Department.

Brannon was also on probation at the time of the arrest for possession of a controlled substance.

Brannon has been arrested for trafficking a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

His bond is set at $250,000.
