MICHAEL SHANE CAULEY

Mr. Michael Shane Cauley, age 38, of Andalusia, passed away on Thurs Feb. 22, 2018.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sun., Feb. 25, 2018, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Mike and Teresa Cauley of Andalusia; mother and step-father, Patricia and Bubba Hamblin of Satsuma, AL; sons, Hunter Cauley and Wyatt Shane Cauley; daughter, Mallory Shannon Cauley; brother, Christopher McDonald of Satsuma, AL; step-brother B.J Hamblin of Satsuma, AL; step-sister Kari Chapman of Satsuma, AL and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

LINDA TYLER

Mrs. Linda Tyler, 75, of Andalusia, passed away Wed., Feb. 21, 2018 at her residence.

Funeral services wereon Fri., Feb. 23, 2018, from Hopewell Baptist Church with Brother Barry Wilkinson officiating. The interment followed in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation was at Hopewell.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Wright of Andalusia; a son, Ricky Padgett of Centerville, Ala.; four grandchildren, Sheridan Wright, Jamisyn Wright, Emily Faulkner, and Kyle Padgett; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue Owens (Howard) of Red Level, and Patsy George (Gene) of Andalusia; step-children, Mike Tyler (Barbara) and Anita Prewitt.

She is preceded in death by her husband, T. Tex Tyler; her sister, Emogene Yarbrough; and brother, Charles Kelley.

Pallbearers were: Kyle Padgett, Jeff Owens, Zack Owens, Mike Bush, Mike Tyler and MJ Faulkner.

 

REBA CHRISTINE EILAND TIMS

Reba Christine Eiland Tims of Portland, Ore., passed away at age 90 on Feb. 6, 2018, of natural causes. She was born on Sept., 14, 1927, in Covington County, Ala.

She is survived by two daughters; Reba Roughton Tobey and Emily C. Eaton (Frank) of Portland, Ore; sister, Janice Castleberry of Andalusia; brother, John C. Eiland of Mobile as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Olin Thomas and Bonnie Hartzog Eiland of Mobile; son, Michael Harrelson; brother, Max Eiland of Andalusia and husband, G. Roy Tims of Mobile.

Christine was baptized at age 13 in a pond on her parent’s property in Loango. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and graduated from Red Level High School in 1946. Christine’s love for music and her religious beliefs led her to play the piano in various churches.

She worked at Andalusia Chamber of Commerce. In approximately 1951, she moved to Mobile and worked a short time as a secretary. Primarily, she was a mother and homemaker. In 2015, she moved to Portland, Ore., to be near her daughters due to declining health.

Burial for Christine was in Lincoln Park Cemetery in Portland, Ore.
