GLADYS HARTLEY GARNER

Mrs. Gladys Hartley Garner, age 85, of Andalusia, passed away Mon., March 5, 2018, at her residence. She worked for many years as a sewing machine operator at Alatex.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Garner of Andalusia; her sons, Roger Hammond of Dozier and Joe Griggs of Andalusia; her grandson, Rodney Hammonds; and her great-granddaughter, Reanna Hammonds.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thurs., March 8, 2018, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel in Andalusia with the Rev. Calvin Feagin officiating. Interment will follow at Stonelake Gardens in Andalusia. Asked to serve as pallbearers are Richard Garner, Joe Griggs, Jerry Philyaw, Dillan Ziglar, David Hammonds, and Rodney Hammonds.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wed., March 7, 2018, at Keahey Funeral Home.

GERTRUDE M. WITHEROW

Mrs. Gertrude M. Witherow, age 80, of Florala, passed away on Wed., Feb. 28, 2018, at Andalusia Health.

Mrs. Witherow is survived by her children Eric Witherow of Florala, Kevin (Nora) Witherow of Florala, Karen (Millard) Gladstone of New York, Charles (Lisa) Witherow of Florala, and Tammy (Charles) Ely of North Caolina; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Witherow.

SHIRLEY ANN (FRANKLIN) NORRIS

Mrs. Shirley Ann (Franklin)Norris, age 67, of Andalusia, passed away Mon., March 5, 2018, at her daughter’s home in Red Level. She attended Pleasant Home High School. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Andalusia. She was a devoted mother who took great care of her family.

She is survived by her children, Cody Worley of Andalusia and Tammy Norris Griggs of Red Level; and by her three grandchildren, Shana Cantaline, Miranda Denny,and Megan Norris. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Jessie (Neal) Franklin.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wed., March 7, 2018, at Scripture Truth Church Cemetery, Cantaline Road, Andalusia, with the Rev. Ed Ganus officiating.
