The location for LBWCC Foundation’s fundraising concert featuring Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder Band on April 21, 2018, is moved to Covington Center Arena in Andalusia.

“We decided to move the event inside so we can go forward with planning without having to worry about rain,” said Foundation President Kim Carter. “Since this event is suitable for families, we want to make sure everyone is comfortable and the Covington Center Arena is large enough for the amount of people we hope will attend.”

Since the event will now be inside, there is no need for people to worry about bringing a lawn chair, she said.

“We are getting excited about welcoming such a legendary performer as Ricky Skaggs to Andalusia, and encourage those interested in attending to get their tickets now,” she said.

Tickets are $25 in advance, $35 at the gate, and now a new option is available at $75 for preferred seating, she said.

“Ordering tickets online is fast and easy at www.lbwcc.edu, or they can purchased in Andalusia at LBW Community College, Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce, CCB Community Bank and Harold’s Furniture and Flooring. In Greenville, tickets are available at Brian Moss State Farm.”

Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder take the stage at 6 p.m. on April 21 at Covington Center Arena in Andalusia. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. with local performers.
