The LBWCC Saints’ baseball team had the bats going and got a strong performance on the mound to knock off Wallace-Selma 6-0 on Thursday afternoon in Selma.

Ko Powell showed patience at the plate as he opened the game with a four-pitch walk.

Jesse Hall then picked up a single and moved Powell over to second base.

Chauncey Callier was hit by a pitch to load the bases with one out and then a walk to Trevor Shelton put the Saints up 1-0.

Bryson Gandy followed with a scorching double to right field that scored Hall and Callier.

On the mound for the Saints, Garrett Hollinghead sat Wallace-Selma down in the order to start the game.

Hollinghead breezed through the second inning in the same fashion as the first.
