The Andalusia Junior Woman’s Club has announced that Mary Susan Crovato will be the featured artist at the 9th annual Three Notch Market, set for Sat., April 7, at Springdale.

“We hope to share the talent not only of local artists, but also fabulous regional artists as we continue to grow the size and variety of artists that come to our market,” AJWC member Aubrey McKee said.

Mary Susan Crovato, shown with her sons, will be the featured artist at 3NM this year.

Crovato, a Selma native, picked up her first pallet knife in 2015 out of pure curiosity. Starting strictly focusing on abstracts, she found that she quickly moved into more specific commissioned pieces.

“I love challenging myself each time I take on a project, learning each time more and more about myself and the use of the knife,” she said.

Crovato’s art is shared on her “Southern Reflections” Facebook page.

This year the club will auction the featured artwork from their artist. The piece is currently displayed downtown by the LAAC at The Gallery.

“Feel free to stop by to view and place a bid in hopes to have a beautiful expression of one of Andalusia’s landmarks in your home,” McKee said.

Bidding is open to all at The Gallery through Fri., April 6, and final bids will be accepted at Three Notch Market until noon on Sat., April 7.

Applications for booths are still being accepted. For information, visit www.ajwcthreenotchmarket.com.
