The Opp Bobcats clinched the area title on Friday when they knocked off Slocomb 9-0 on Friday in Slocomb.

Opp came out of the gates on fire and quickly built a big lead.

Dalton Grider finished the game 2-for-4 with two singles, two runs scored and one RBI.

Brett James went 2-for-4 with a single, triple and two runs scored.

Trey Moody went 1-for-3 with a single and two RBIs.

Logan Ross went 1-for-3 with two runs scored.

Ross picked up the win on the mound with a complete-game shutout. Ross allowed just three hits and struck out 11 batters.
