The Vanderbilt Commodores have added a third Andalusia player for the 2018 season after offering Will Clark a spot on the team on Thursday.

During his playing career at Andalusia, Clark helped lead the Bulldogs to the third round as a sophomore and then back-to-back semifinal appearances his junior and senior year.

Clark accounted fom 50 total tackles, three sacks and forced two fumbles as senior. As a senior, Clark faced many double teams as teams tried everything they could to keep him out of the backfield.

Clark finished his Andalusia career with 115 total tackles, 46 solo tackles, 25 tackles for a loss, seven sacks, three forced fumbles, one interception and one blocked punt.

After receiving offers from smaller schools, Clark got accepted into Vanderbilt University, where he earned an academic scholarship.

Though he wasn’t offered a scholarship to play football, Commodores head coach Derek Mason liked what he heard about Clark from his former teammates and was impressed with what he saw on film.

Mason then extended Clark an offer to walk on to the Commodores football team.

Clark will join B.J. Anderson as a freshman football player for the Commodores.

Former Andalusia standout Allen George will also look to get some game action after redshirting during his freshman year at Vanderbilt.
