The Andalusia Bulldogs clinched the Class 4A Area 3 title by beating the Dale County Warriors 4-2 on Thursday night in Midland City.

Andalusia’s Ethan Wilson starred at the plate in game one of the series on Tuesday when he tallied five RBIs with a pair of home runs.

He was once again the star of the game on Thursday, but this time it came on the mound.

Wilson kept the Warriors off balance all night as he lit up the batters for 16 strikeouts in seven innings of work.

The Bulldog offense struck early and gave Wilson a three-run lead before he ever had to step on the mound.

Garrett Davis reached after being hit back a pitch and moved to third when Hogan Nichols reached off of an error.

Sebaskin Stallworth followed with a single to score Davis.

Will Clark put the Bulldogs on top 3-0 when he drove in a pair of runs with a double.

Wilson scored the final run in the top of the sixth off of a single from Davis.
