BOBBIE NELL MOORE

Mrs. Bobbie Nell Moore Eiland, 80, of Lanett passed away on Sat., April 7, 2018, at the Arbor Springs Health and Rehab Center in Opelika. She was born on August 29, 1937, in Rose Hill, in Covington County.

Mrs. Eiland is survived by her two children, Cathy Eiland Crowder of Columbus, Ga., and Al (Sallie) Eiland of Auburn; her five grandchildren, Jacob (Emily) Crowder, Leah Crowder (Caleb) Carr, Jon (Marjorie) Eiland, Drew (Morgan) Eiland, and Will Eiland; her three great-grandchildren, Isaiah Crowder, Malcolm Crowder, and Graham Eiland; her sister, Betty Moore Williams of Rose Hill; her brother, Ben (Neva) Moore of Rose Hill; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Athan D. Eiland, and her parents, Arnold and Mildred Kelley Moore.

Mrs. Eiland was baptized at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Rose Hill. She served as church secretary for Lanett First Baptist Church for 25 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sibling, and aunt. She was greatly loved by her nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Funeral services were held on Wed., April 11, 2018, at the Lanett First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Jordan and the Rev. B. Gene Webb officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

The family received friends Wednesday afternoon from 1 p.m. until the service. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Lanett First Baptist Church in her memory.
