Red Level Lady Tigers fall to Greenville

The Red Level Lady Tigers put up a battle, but fell 6-5 to Greenville on Monday night in Red Level.

Greenville scored runs in the top of the first and second innings to go up 2-0.

In the bottom of the second inning, Olivia Whitefield drove in a run to cut the lead in half.

Greenville got a one-out single in the top of the third inning, but Elizabeth Cross struck out the next two batters to end the frame.

Greenville then tacked on another run in the top of the fourth inning to go up 3-1.

Cross got things for the Lady Tigers with a one-out double in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Cross then came around to third base on a single from Summer Beverly.

Tori Hall followed with an RBI single and then Beverly scored off of an error to the tie the game.

Cross brought in two runs with a double in the bottom of the sixth, but Greenville rallied and scored the winning run in the top of the seventh.
