The Andalusia Lady Bulldogs used their batting skills in the third inning to beat Highland Home Flying Squadron 10-2.

The Lady Bulldogs scored two in the second inning by hitting some singles by Sydney Artnett, Sydney Ray, Olivia Amerson, Millie Manring and Chloe Mikel.

The big inning for the Lady Bulldogs came in the third inning when Arnett, Ray, Morgan Bledsoe, Amerson, Manring, and Mikel all knocked in runs.

Ray pitched for the win, allowing only two hits and two runs over four innings, striking out seven and walking one.

“I think we played pretty well today,” Head Coach Anthony Mikel said. “The girls are pumped up and are playing well because of it.”

Mikel said that if they played the way that they did against Ashford the other day then they will win their area.
