Cost Plus, located on East Three Notch Street, posted a banner at its store on Tuesday announcing it is closing. The banner says, “Store Closing. Save! No 10% added to costs.” A district manager in the store Tuesday declined to say when the store will close, and the local property owners said they had not been notified of the company’s plans. This marks the second grocery store to close in Andalusia. Winn Dixie shut its doors on Saturday, and Piggly Wiggly is expected to open in the Winn Dixie location later this month.
