VELMA CAROLYN WILLIAMS PADGETT

Mrs. Velma Carolyn Williams Padgett, age 93, of Andalusia, passed away on Tues., May 1, 2018, at her residence.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Fri., May 4, 2018, at Mt. Zion Methodist Church with Rev. Diane Everette and Brother Billy Boles officiating the service, interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Gail Padgett Wesley, Becky Padgett and David Wesley, and Tina Padgett and Donnie Jackson; grandchildren, Lainie Hilburn, Chris Wesley, Jason Wesley, Abe Partridge, Adam Partridge, Katie Belue, and Caroline Belue; great grandchildren, Triston, Ensley, and Dakota Hilburn, James Wesley, Evan, Abbey, and Wyatt Partridge, and Gage, Gunner, Garritt, Paisley, Gatlin, and Saylor Partridge; and brother, Oliver Williams.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Jewell Padgett; infant son, Harry James Padgett; parents, Leonard and Julia Williams; brother, Robert T. Williams; and great grandchild, Elijah Partridge.
