LBW Community College in Opp is offering a seven-week Beginner Computer Course on Mondays, 6-8 p.m., July 9, 2018 – August 20, 2018. Classes will be held in the Administration building in room A003 on the MacArthur Campus.

Learn about the computer and how it works in this no-pressure, slow-paced course. Discover how the computer can be used for organizing your information, researching, and communicating with the world. Learn the parts of a computer and their uses. Work with the mouse, explore the Windows desktop, activate word processing programs, save and organize files, and use the internet. Gain confidence and feel comfortable using the computer at home or work.

The cost of the course is $85 per participant. The course book may be purchased from the LBWCC bookstore for $45.30.

Space is limited. Students may register in person in the Student Services Office Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. or Friday, 8 a.m. – Noon.
