Have you adopted a patriotic fire hydrant yet? It’s not too late to help make Andalusia the most patriotic town in the South! This project is well underway now with the local fire dept. painting red, white, & blue on the Court Square and main streets. You can be a part of this project sponsored by the Old Three Notch Chapter of the DAR in conjunction with the City of Andalusia. Pamphlets can be picked up at Bass Agency Real Estate on Hwy. 29 N. Adopt a hydrant for $75. for your business or neighborhood. It may be in honor or in memory of a veteran, a relative, or a friend. You will receive an adoption certificate and publicity on your participation. All of this can be a reality by the 4th of July with your help. Choose the location of the hydrant you wish to adopt! Neighbors, clubs, businesses, individuals – we will all be so proud when we ride past red, white, & blue on our city streets! God bless America!
