Mrs. Mary Tillman Jones
Mrs. Mary Tillman Jones, age 98, of Andalusia, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Andalusia Manor.
She is survived by her sons, Charles Rex Jones and Larry Joe Jones, both of Andalusia; grandchildren, Jordan Jones, Joy Chavers, Hannah Davenport, Kaci Harper, and Shelley Jones; four great-grandchildren; and brother, James H. “Bill” Tillman.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin P. Tillman and Exie Caton Tillman, and husband, Robert R. Jones.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 13, from Mt. Zion Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the graveside at Mt. Zion Methodist Church.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Mt. Zion Methodist Church.

Loretta Mavis Gantt
Loretta Mavis Gantt was born November 20, 1926 in Akron, Ohio, and died October 10, 2018, in a Mobile nursing home.
Her childhood was spent in the Coldwater/Gantt community. She moved to Ohio to work at General Motors until she moved south to be closer to family. She went to work at the Department of the Navy until she retired in 1993.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 13, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Coldwater Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She is survived by her sister, Joann G. Williams of Andalusia; brothers and sisters-in-law, W.D. and Virginia Gantt of Lucedale, MS and Phil and Susan Gantt, Jr. of Andalusia; sisters-in-law, Gloethel Gantt of Brewton, Amy Gantt of Brewton, and Gail Gantt of Pensacola, FL; and 27 nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Phil and Dollie Crum Gantt; sisters, Ethel Sanspree and Phillis Gantt Pugh; and brothers, Oliver P. Gantt, Lamont Gantt, and Robert Edward Gantt.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Gantt, Jeff Gantt, Johnny Gantt, Peter Williams, Terry Cook, and Daniel Cate.
