The Andalusia Junior Woman’s Club is “turning back time” with this year’s Red Garter Revue, which will feature hosts and hostesses from previous shows, along with longtime crowd favorite acts. 

Serving as host and hostess for the show will be Bill Alverson, who emceed most recently in 2017; Katie King and Lynsey Williams, who hosted in 2018;  Kim and Kyle Baumgartner, who hosted in 2011; and Roger and Cathy Powell, who hosted in 2016.

Performers include Aubrey McKee, Tabitha Sasser, The Dixie Darlin’s, Hunter Linzey, Christopher Smith and Kara Foreman, the Ritz Crackers, Paula Sue Dubelt, and an alumni group of Red Garter Dancers will perform.

The club also will present its annual lifetime achievement award.

Red Garter is one of two major fundraisers the AJWC conducts each year. The club raises monies to put back into the community in projects that benefit children and youth.

Show time is 7 p.m. at the Dixon Center on the Andalusia campus of LBW Community College. Advance tickets can be purchased from any AJWC member, Darby’s Medical Center, or at the door the night of the show.
