Opp will be the place to be Saturday for the annual Little Big Horn Marching Band Contest.

Seventeen bands will participate in this year’s festival.

Gates will open at 11:30 a.m., and the first band will take the field at 12:30 p.m.

There are five bands participating in Class A:

• Clarke Prep at 12:30

• Florala at 12:45

• Sweet Water at 1

• Fruitdale at 1:15

• Washington Co. at 1:30

Six bands will participate in Class AA:

• Straughn at 2

• Charles Henderson at 2:15

• Escambia Co. at 2:30

• Southern Choctaw at 3

• Geneva at 3:15

• Pensacola at 3:30

Four bands will participate in Class AAA:

• Slocomb at 4

• Russell Co. at 4:25

• Daleville at 4:45

• Davidson at 5:05

One band will participate in Class AAAA:

• Rehobeth at 7

One band will participate in Class AAAAA:

• Andalusia at 7:20

Opp High School’s band will play an exhibition at 7:45, and the awards banquet will be at 8.
