Henry Allen Jones, age 65, passed away on Sun., Dec. 15, 2019, in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital.

Mr. Jones was born Sept. 15, 1954, the youngest son of Gordon Smith and Ruth Dillard Jones.

He was educated in Andalusia City Schools where he graduated from Andalusia High School in 1972.

He began his undergraduate studies at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Miss., where he studied music and voice. He later transferred to The University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, Miss., and also attended Pearl River Community College, Poplarville, Miss.

He was self-employed and conducted business as Computer Clinic.  He sold and installed new computers, software and peripherals. In addition, he repaired used computers and upgraded the software to the latest operating systems.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Andalusia where he had been a member of the choir.

He is survived by his daughter, Maggie Ruth Jones;  brother, Phillip Jones (Gail) of Andalusia; niece, Alexa Jones Boatright (Shane) of Stratton, Vermont; uncle and aunt, James and Jenelle Jones, of Gantt, AL, aunt and uncle, Ida Dillard Harper and Charles, of Washington; girlfriend, Terri Everidge and family; and numerous cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be on Thu., Dec. 19, at 10 a.m., with a memorial service following at 11 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church in Andalusia with Rev. Bob Madsen officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the music fund at First Presbyterian Church, 223 South Three Notch Street, Andalusia, AL 36420.
