TURNER “BOOTS” DAVIS

Mr. Turner “Boots” Davis, 82, of Red Level, passed away Thu., Dec. 26, 2019, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Sat., Dec. 28, at Mill Creek Baptist Church with interment in Mitchell Cemetery. Brother Tommy Weems and Brother Billy Boles will officiate the service. Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m., Fri., Dec. 27, at Foreman Funeral Home.

Mr. Turner “Boots” Davis is survived by his wife, Esther Parker Davis of Red Level, three daughters; Donna Davis Barnes of Loango, Tina Davis McClain (Bobby) of Loango, and Brenda Davis Johnson (Gary) of Loango, seven grandchildren; Brandon Short (Janie) of Loango, Amy Palmer (Daniel) of Loango, Tori Adams (Kyle) of Loango, Lauren Gipson (Josh) of Georgiana, Josh Davis of Andalusia, Haley Robinson (Charlie) of Andalusia, and Hannah Sasser (Levi) of Andalusia, numerous great-grandchildren, three sisters; Elizabeth Guidry of Texas, Rhonda Patterson of Red Level, and Wanda Morris of River Falls, two brothers; Mickey Davis of Andalusia and Robert Davis of Red Level.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Short, Jonathan Short, Josh Davis, Charlie Robinson, Levi Sasser, and Mickey Davis.

Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his mother, Melba Davis, his father, Sumpter Davis, his son, Timothy Mark Davis, his brothers J.W. Davis, Frank Davis, Jimmy Davis, and Billy Davis, his sisters, Barbara Allen and Virginia Justice, and his granddaughter, Kimberley Short.
