PowerSouth’s annual Relay for Life 5K Resolution Run/Walk scheduled for Jan. 11, 2020 is canceled due to the possibility of severe weather.

The event will not be rescheduled.

Safety is one of PowerSouth’s core values. In adhering to these values, PowerSouth decided to cancel the 5K to avoid exposing participants to any risks or harm that could come from the forecasted weather.

For those participants who have already paid their race dues, PowerSouth will either refund the $25 entrance fee or provide the long sleeve T-shirt and participant package that would have been distributed at the race.

Unless otherwise informed, PowerSouth will issue refunds to the mailing addresses provided on race entry forms. Those forgoing the refund can pick up their participant packages at Andalusia City Hall on Friday, Jan. 10 from 5-6 p.m. or Saturday, Jan. 11 from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Packages can also be mailed to the mailing address provided on race entry forms.
