Opp will have its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day March on Monday.

Locals are invited to walk or ride their cars, golf carts, bicycles, etc.,

The march will begin at 10 a.m., at the Opp Police Department Parking lot.

It will end at the Hardin Street Community Center.

After the march, the annual MLK program will be held at the community center.

Earlier that morning, a prayer breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m., at the center.

A cash prize of $100 will be awarded to any student in grades K-12 who can recite the “I Have A Dream Speech.”

All individuals, groups, choirs, and churches are invited and welcome to participate.
