Last month’s rainfall totals nearly double January 2019

January 2020 brought nearly double to amount of rainfall to Covington County than January 2019.
According to the Choctawhatchee, Pea and Yellow River Watershed Management Authority, 8.32 inches was recorded at Yellow River on Hwy. 55, up from 4.60 inches in the same time period in 2019.
The organization also recorded 9.99 inches of rain at its gauge at Yellow River on Hwy. 84, which is up from 4.93 inches in January 2019.
