The Andalusia High School varsity golf team finished third out of 16 teams in the Prattville Christian Academy tournament.

The team came third behind two 7A  schools, Hoover High School and Enterprise High School, with a team score of 329.

Senior Adam Kilpatrick tied for the second-lowest round of the tournament with a 72.

Jack McCalman shot a 77, Cameron Woodard shot an 89, Xavier Dozier shot a 91 and D.J. Dorsey shot a 93.

Kilpatrick, who finished second out of 80 players, said the conditions on the course were tough.

“It was very tough with the conditions being wet and windy on a links course,” Kilpatrick said. “The fescue was super thick with bunkers lining almost every fairway.”

The teams played the senator course at Capitol Hill in Prattville.

The next match for the Bulldogs is scheduled for March 2 at the Andalusia Country Club.
