Locals swarm to retail establishments in Andalusia

Andalusians are out and about visiting all local stores and business owners could not be more grateful around Covington County.

People were walking to stores and just happy to be out and about.

Store Manager of 3 Notch Emporium Angel Morgan, said it has been busy.

“People have been like little bees buzzing around town and that they have been in here shopping around and we are so happy to see everyone,” Morgan said. “We are being cautious about everything and allowing only ten people at a time in the store.”

Central Wholesale is known for its home decor, floral arrangements, and wedding registries. They were all smiles as the opening day for their store has come.

Bridget Forsyth was all smiles describing her store opening as great.

“We have been blessed with good business today and you can tell people are excited about getting out and about and we have had some great sales today,” Forsyth said.

Allen Walker is eager about reopening and finally kicking off his awaited for Spring Sale. Walkers decorated in all kinds of furniture and home decor for sale.

“Everything is 40 percent off please come by it,” Walker said. “Furniture, lamps, mothers day gifts, bridal shower gifts and are sales are Fri., May 1, until Fri., May 8. Take 40% off all gifts, Home Decor, and registered furniture.”

Next-door neighbor to Walker’s is Janna King who is all smiles as her Teal Gypsy store has open signs with manikins styled in the latest spring fashions.

“God has been good we are all happy to be back open,” said King.
