The Covington County Board of Education made several personnel decisions at its regularly scheduled meeting Thursday at noon.

The board approved:

Retirement:

  • Charlette M. Suggs, as paraprofessional at Florala High School.

Hired:

  • Ramona Barrett, as paraprofessional at Florala High School.
  • Ben Robbins, as custodian at Florala High School.
  • Dustin Ian Lee, as business marketing education teacher and softball coach at Red Level High School.
  • Octavius Malik Bonham, as instructional paraprofessional at Straughn Elementary School.
  • Rebecca Beverly, as custodian at Straughn Elementary School.
  • Michael Stanford Gooden, as special education teacher at Straughn Middle School.
  • Chicora Jeanette Bush, as instructional paraprofessional at Straughn Middle School.
  • Kaci D. Perry, as JAG specialist at Straughn High School.
  • Christine Lewis, as collaborative education K-6 teacher at W.S. Harlan.
  • Jane Elizabeth Hudspeth, as elementary teacher at W.S. Harlan.
  • William Benjamin Wilson, as maintenance worker with Covington County Schools.
