RALPH STANLEY KIERCE

Mr. Ralph Stanley Kierce, 81, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at his retirement residence. 

He was born on October 28, 1938 in Andalusia, Alabama to William W. Kierce and Ruby Hare Kierce.  He loved to work with his hands and was a skilled upholsterer.  He and his wife enjoyed vacationing at Joe Wheeler State Park and spending time with family.  He was a longtime fan of Alabama Football and had fond memories of the games he and his son attended.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Ann Barron Kierce of Elmore; daughters, Melissa Kierce of Maplesville and Dara Kierce Windham of Wetumpka; son, William B. Kierce (Paula) of Montgomery; grandchildren, Ashley Kierce, Shelby Armstrong Caudle (Jonathan), Tyler Armstrong (Skyler), Kierston Cobb, and Julius Ingram; great-grandchildren, Lily Caudle, Hunter Caudle, Bentley Caudle, Tucker Caudle, and Mason Armstrong.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Allyson Renea Kierce; his parents William W. and  Ruby Hare Kierce; brother, D. H. Kierce; and sisters, Elizabeth Speller,  Glenda Bonds, Linda Richardson,  Margaret Potts, and Dorothy Lee Wilson.

The family will celebrate his life at a memorial service at a future date and would like to thank everyone for their prayers and gestures of kindness.
