Covington County Sheriff Blake Turman said Wednesday evening he has tested positive for COVID-19 and will quarantine.

‘It is with great displeasure that I report as Sheriff of Covington County, I have tested positive for the coronavirus,’ Turman said.  ‘I feel fine however I will need to quarantine. I will be back on he job forthwith once release. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.”

Currently, Covington County has 381 confirmed cases with 10 deaths.
