DTF ARRESTS SEVEN IN OPP DRUG BUST

A drug bust in Opp led to the arrest of seven people, including two for chemically endangering a one-year-old child.

The 22nd Drug Task Force and the Covington County Incident Response Team executed a search warrant at 102 South College Street in Opp.

The 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force was able to obtain a search warrant after a six-month investigation into illegal narcotic activity at 102 South College Street, Opp. The Covington County Incident Response Team assisted the DTF with executing the search warrant and took seven suspects into custody.

During a search of the residence, DTF agents located methamphetamine packaged for sales, marijuana, numerous prescription pills and multiple items of drug paraphernalia throughout the residence. Throughout the investigation, the DTF had received information of a small child living inside the residence. During the search warrant a one year of age child was located inside the residence. Covington County DHR was called to assist.

Leisha Creech, 41, was arrested for chemical endangerment of a child, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is being held in the Covington County Jail on a $1,116,500 bond.

Roger Keith Odom, 51, was arrested for chemical endangerment of a child, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Covington County Jail on a $1,116,500 bond.

L.V. Johnson, 59, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on a $39,000 bond.

Raymond Ira Teeple III, 21, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on a $39,000 bond.

Mikie Kental Justice, 35, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on a $39,000 bond.

Dallas Hunter Wingard, 22, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on a $39,000 bond.

John Warren Agan Jr., 33, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on a $9,000 bond.
