Mrs. Lavonia “Von” G. Cartwright, age 87, of Andalusia, passed away on May 29, 2021 at Andalusia Manor.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, May 30, 2 p.m., at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. No formal visitation is scheduled, the family will visit with friends at the cemetery.

She will be remembered for her love of her family and her beautiful smile. She loved fixing hair and worked as a hair stylist for 40 years in Andalusia.

She is survived by her son, Greg Mayberry of Miramar, Florida; two granddaughters, Kristen (Dustin) Stinson of Elba, Alabama and Jamie Lawson of Andalusia; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Mae Ison of Andalusia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by two sons, Jeff Mayberry and Tim Mayberry; parents, Charles and Donnie Lee Grice; sisters, Bertha Schultz, Olene Etheridge, Desi Ray Odom; and brothers, Jessie Grice, Buddy Grice, and Hollis Grice.
