Mr. James Carl “J.C.” Dean passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021. He was 46.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 3, 3 p.m., at Keahey Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. on Thursday until the time of services. Interment will follow in Stone Lake Gardens.

Left to cherish his memory, significant other, Jennifer Messick; mother, Lana Dean-Little; son, Richard Alexander Dean and daughter, Willow Sage Dean; daughter Freya Louise Dean; brother, Davy Dean (Jessica); grandparents Mary Lillian and Lee Kirkland; niece, Kaylee Elizabeth Dean and nephews, Connor Elijah Dean and Jaxon David Dean; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rick Dean in 2001.

“J.C.” was a graduate of Andalusia High School and excelled as a construction worker; he had a wonderful sense of humor diced with lots of sarcasm; had a heart of gold and was full of compassion for others. He dearly loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
