Carolyn Anne Castleberry, 83, of Red Level, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at her residence.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 19, 11 a.m., at Buck Creek Baptist Church with Brother Tyler Ingram, Brother Mitchell Smith, and Brother Dwight Smith officiating the service. The interment will follow in Buck Creek Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.   Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Buck Creek Baptist Church.

Carolyn is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Richard and Ruth Anne Castleberry of Chesapeake, Virginia, Reese Castleberry of Red Level; one daughter and son-in-law, Lee Ann and Joey Turman of Enterprise; her grandchildren, Anna (Daniel) McKay, Jon Andrew (Emily) Castleberry, Stevie Marie Castleberry, AnJoy Castleberry, Carlee Turman, Cade Turman, and Carston Turman; one great-granddaughter, Poppy Mae Castleberry; three brothers, Dwight L. (Diane) Smith, Kenney O. (Donna) Smith, Mitchell (Diane) Smith; two sisters, Kaye S. Newells and Laynea S. (John) Harville; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joyce L. Castleberry; parents, Virgil and Glady Smith; brothers, Charles T., Verl G., Stanford P., Wayburn D., Mack, and Wallace T. Smith; and sisters, Katrina Bullock, Audrey Johnston, Loraine McMillan, and Joyce Chancellor.

Pallbearers will be Cade Turman, Daniel McKay, Jon Andrew Castleberry, Carston Turman, Brad Johnson, Chris Smith, and Josh Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Hildreth, Davis Lester, and Kevin Kenney.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Buck Creek Baptist Church.
