Sheila Mary Harris Jordan, 88, of Rose Hill, passed away Friday, July 2, 2021.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, July 6, 10 a.m., at Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Rose Hill with Foreman Funeral Home directing. The family visited with friends at the cemetery on Tuesday beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Mrs. Jordan was born on June 23, 1933 in Langford, Oxfordshire, England where she met and married her late husband, Donald, a U.S. Army soldier stationed in England following WWII. She emigrated to America with her husband and two young children in 1954.

She is survived by her children, Donald E. Jordan Jr., Linda Jordan, Sharon Jordan, Debra Bush and husband, Bennie Bush, James R. Jordan, Mark E. Jordan and wife, Johnnie, Mary Hurst and husband Douglas, Janice Wood and husband Barry Wood and Joanne Burns and husband Darrell Burns; 13 grandchildren, Stuart Jordan, Donna C. (Rodney Jordan), Hannah (Elijah) Johnson, Kathryn Hurst, Claire Hurst, Jordan Wood, Reagan Wood, Lauren Wood, Jackson Burns, Ainsley Burns, Jessica (Brad) Melerine, Jennifer Jordan, Christina Jordan; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Kate (Martin) Gannon of Funchai, Maderia.

Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Jordan Sr.; two sons, Randall C. Jordan and Richard A. Jordan.
