Abel Coy was born on July 6, 2021 at Andalusia Health in Andalusia. He was 9 pounds and 4 ounces and was 21 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are Tim Hudson and Becky Reid of Andalusia. Paternal grandparents are Hugh and Ann Truex of Penn Valley, California.
