Mr. Chris Edward McLelland, age 66, originally a resident of Pensacola and had resided in Loango, Alabama for the past 20 years, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021, at his residence.

A memorial graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Old Bethesda Cemetery in Loango with Brother Tirey Bowen officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. No formal visitation is scheduled, and the family will visit with friends at the cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Betty June Hartin McLelland; his children, Tracy (Chris) Watson, Joshua McLelland, David McLelland; grandchildren, Christopher (Ashley) Watson, Brittany Watson, Lexie Cottle, Magen (Barrett) Bush, Mandi Cottle, Tate Watson, Madison McLelland, and Brody McLelland; great-grandchildren, Jemma-Kay Watson, Pierson Cross, Channing Bush, Emery Cross, Beckham Bush, and Liam Watson; his siblings, Rondalyn (Lee) Philen and Randy McLelland along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward McLelland; his maternal grandparents, George Hartin and Ruby Lowe Hartin; and paternal grandparents, Pearl Smith McLelland and Thomas Houston McLelland.
