Florala earns win over Georgiana; Tigers, Eagles drop region games

After starting the season with two road losses, Florala kicked off at home for the first time Friday night and came away with a big region win over Georgiana, 41-14.

The Wildcats are 1-2 on the season and 1-1 in Region 1. They will stay at home again next week as they set to host intra-county rival, Red Level.

Kinston 27

Red Level hit the road for the first time this season traveling to Kinston for a region contest, but came home with the loss, 27-6.

The Tigers are 1-2 on the season and 1-1 in the region.

They will travel to take on the Florala Wildcats in another region contest next Friday night.

Pleasant Home 0 

Samson 18

After a dramatic five-overtime victory last week over Georgiana, the Pleasant Home Eagles returned home this week where they suffered a shutout, 18-0, at the hands of Samson.

The loss drops Pleasant Home to 1-2 on the season and 1-1 in the region.

Next week, the Eagles will host Brantley who are 2-0 overall and in the region, which includes a forfeit win against McKenzie.
