Mr. R. Wayne Bass of Andalusia passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at his residence. He was 82.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Union Hill Church of Christ cemetery in Wing, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m., Saturday at Keahey Funeral Home until time to depart for the graveside. Brother Pat Brinn and Jared Knoll will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Art Brunson, Bo Baggett, Tommy Byrd, Larry Cook, Patrick Brinn, and Lynn Bass.

Left to cherish his memory, loving wife of 63 years, Dewain Worrell Bass; son, Hugh Bass (Jennifer) and daughter, Alane Bass Brunson (Art) all of Andalusia; three grandchildren, Riley Ty Bass, Courtney Baggett (Bo), and Nicholas Brunson.

Wayne was a longtime member of Union Hill Church of Christ and had been a peanut, corn, and cattle farmer all his life. When he wasn’t farming, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and especially squirrel hunting.
