Mr. William Carl Floyd of Elmore, Alabama passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Prattville Baptist Hospital. He was 82.

He was a resident of the life-long Opp (Babbie) area for many years.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Mt. Zion cemetery in Coffee County. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday at Keahey Funeral Home until time to depart for the graveside. Mr. Austin Sullivan will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert (Joe) Dean, Jr Behrens, Johnny Floyd, Whitt Floyd, Elbert Tillery, and Jamie Whatley. Serving as honorary pallbearers Josh Floyd, Kyra Floyd, Cayleigh Jowers, and Bubba Jowers.

Left to cherish his memories, sister, Ethel Hancock; sister-in-law, Joyce Floyd; nieces and nephews (caretakers), Nancy (Robert) Dean, Destanie Tillery, Josh (Sabrina) Floyd, Kyra Floyd, Abigal Floyd, Olivia Floyd, Becky (Jr) Behrens, Cayleigh Jowers, Bubba Jowers, Alayah Behrens, and many more nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, James Henry Floyd Sr., and mother, Mary Bell (Weaver) Floyd; brothers, Winford (Buddy) Floyd, Donald Floyd, James Floyd Jr., and Q.P. Floyd; sisters, Mary Agnes Floyd, Alive-Lee Blocker, Lois Floyd, and Helen Floyd; his great-nephew (his best buddy), Bobby Dean;

Mr. Floyd’s love for his family and all the babies was endless. He will be missed beyond measure.
