Melanie Lynne Sublett of Pensacola, Florida passed away Oct. 22, 2016 in Pensacola.

A memorial service will be held at the Dozier Methodist Church on Oct. 29 at 11 a.m.

Melanie was born in Pensacola to Clyde Hoyt Sublett and Carolyn June Sublett on May 25, 1954.

She graduated from Dozier High School and attended Troy University.

Melanie is preceded in death by her father, Clyde Hoyt Sublett; and her grandparents, Richard Guy Sport and Annie Mae Sport.

Melanie is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Lynne Jones (Robert); her brother, Michael Sport Sublett; her sister, Millicent Thompson; her granddaughter, Mia Jones; and grandson, Daughtry Jones.
