Robert Gregory “Sporty” Williams passed away Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021. He was 56.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 13, at Keahey Chapel. The family will receive friends at Keahey Funeral Home Friday evening from 5 to 6 p.m. and would like for everyone to wear Auburn colors! Jamal Curry will provide the music. Pastor Wendell Williams will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brando Daniels, Kevin Anderson, Shannon Freeney, Kevin Freeney, Craig Brazzel, and Thomas Gamble. Honorary pallbearers will be Derrick Glidewell and Glidewell employees. Interment will follow in Marshall Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Left to cherish his memory, mother, Hattie Sue Williams Lawson of Andalusia; sons, Dominek Sims of Andalusia, Cory Sims of Montgomery, Dakota Sims of Andalusia; daughters, Ebony Williams of Ohio, Shameka Davis of Andalusia, Shayanta Williams of Andalusia,  Paisley Williams of Andalusia, Nicole Toney of Louisville, Kentucky; brothers, Carlos Luckie (Melissa) of Andalusia, Aaron Luckie of Montgomery; sisters, Tiwana Luckie of Round Rock, Texas, Charmelle Luckie of Montgomery, Charelle Bishop of Montgomery, Lakeysha Luckie of Bronx, New, York; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his fathers, George W. Jones and Charlie Luckie.

Mr. Williams worked with Glidewell Lawn Care and had been employed with Keahey Funeral Home. He was greatly loved by everyone that knew him.
