Mrs. Sherry Angelyn Thomas passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021. She was 80.

Mrs. Thomas enjoyed being thrifty at yard sales, gardening, and cooking. She also loved playing the piano where she attended church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas will be held Saturday, Nov. 20, 11 a.m., at New Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Mancil officiating. Burial will follow in the New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with these arrangements.

Survivors include daughters, Angie Thomas and Donna (Grady) McClain, both of the Paul Community; sisters, Brenda Lynn of Pensacola, Faye Maddox of Arkansas, Evon Bennet of Georgiana, and Wanda Mills of Wetumpka; grandchildren, Jamie Kimbro (Craig) Johnson, Jeremy (Amy) McClain, Garrett McClain; 6 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, Guy Bennett and Hazel Pate Culp Bennett; husband, Ted Thomas; and a sister, Teresa Musgrove.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Tristan Castleberry, Hunter Kimbro, Jeremy McClain, Garrett McClain, Grady McClain, and Chevron Thomas.
