The Opp Police Department is investigating the death of a 20-year-old female.

According to a Friday, Jan. 7 press release, the department was notified of a possible deceased female inside a residence on the 400 Block of 3rd Street.

Officers arrived on the scene and located Hannah Grace Stover, 20, of Opp inside a bedroom of the residence.

The cause of death is currently under investigation. The body was transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy in an effort to determine the cause of death.

Opp police said that no further information is available as they continue its investigation into the matter.
