Andalusia city council approves resolutions

The City of Andalusia Council met for a regular meeting Tuesday night to present the city’s 2021-2022 ambassadors and also adopted three resolutions.

The council unanimously approved:

  • A resolution on the surplus of a 2009 Crown Victoria Police engine, which is no longer needed for municipal public purposes
  • A resolution on a three-year commitment with the Alabama Municipal Insurance Corporation regarding the city’s general liability and property insurance policy
  • A resolution authorizing the renewal of a credit line with CCB Community Bank in the amount of $1.75 million

The next regularly scheduled meeting for the Andalusia City Council will be Tuesday, Feb. 1, at city hall, beginning at 6 p.m. A work session precedes the meeting at 5:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
