Southeast Gas has initiated a fund to partner with local economic development and local area chambers.

Members of Southeast Gas were on hand to present a check to the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce for $6500 on Wednesday.

“It’s a fund our company has put together as a way to show our appreciation in working together as a team. The money is primarily used for recruitment and marketing purposes,” said Southeast Gas Director of Government Operations and Economic Development Wiley Lott.

Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce Laura Wells was grateful to receive the check. “We are so appreciative of their contributions and all that they do to help our town and community,” she added.
