The City of Andalusia is sharing a draft design of a proposed park with the goal of receiving feedback from the community.

In August 2021, the city council voted to hire Concordia Architecture to provide a plan for the development of a park in the area of Cotton and Tisdale streets. The park is currently being called Heritage Park.

The initial draft of the park was established by Concordia using input from community meetings in October.

The city has established a survey to obtain public input. The survey can be found at https://concordia.com/wp-content/uploads/HERITAGE-PARK_Community-Survey-1.pdf.

There is a link that leads to the survey on the City of Andalusia Facebook page. The survey will be open until Friday, Jan. 28 and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

City officials said the input received will help guide the design to best serve the community.
